The Kardashians took their fans across the world on this week’s Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
Sunday’s episode chronicled the family’s trip to Bali last fall. Missing in action were Kanye West, who was busy working on his album; Kris Jenner, who stayed in Los Angeles to take care of her ailing mom MJ; Tristan Thompson, who was on the road with his team; and Kendall and Kylie Jenner, who had to work.
The trip was a particularly big deal for Khloé Kardashian, who was bringing her and Thompson’s daughter True on her first family vacation. But by the time they were through the first flight — an 18-hour leg of total mayhem — tensions had already begun to rise between Khloé, who got stuck taking care of all of the kids, and Kourtney Kardashian, who ended up sleeping for 15 hours.
By the time they’d arrived, settled in and sat down for a bite to eat at their villa, Khloé, 34, was nearing her breaking point. So when Kourtney, 40, accused her of “complaining” too much, she lost it.
“Get out of my f—ing business,” she snapped. “I help you with your kids, I do this and that. I don’t have to do s—. I don’t even have to f—ing be here.”
Plus, Khloé was frustrated over scheduling conflicts that arose as the sisters were trying to plan their Victoria’s Secret Angels Halloween shoot. Because Kendall and Kylie had to push the shoot back a day, Khloé wasn’t going to be able to squeeze in a trip to Cleveland so that Thompson could spend some time with True.
“Now he’s upset that he doesn’t get to see his daughter and he hasn’t seen True in three weeks,” she said. “Tristan is on an NBA schedule, so he’s in and out of town only for a limited time — whatever the NBA schedule permits. So extending my trip another day in L.A. is kind of throwing a wrench into my travel plans. But this Halloween photo shoot is really important to my sisters, so I can’t cancel.”
“You’re a grown woman with a child,” Kourtney pointed out. “You can say no.”
Khloé, who just wanted to “vent” about the situation, was irritated with her sister’s response.
“Kourtney is annoying. She’s not listening to what I’m saying,” Khloé said. “I’m not complaining about her, I was just venting to her about a situation. But her comments make me want to slap her in the mouth.”
Still, Khloé did her best not to let the tension ruin the family holiday, and even “father of the year” Scott Disick tried to mediate between the sisters. (To no avail, unfortunately.)
“She’s not present, she’s on her phone at every waking minute of every day,” Khloé fumed. “She’s just so f—ing selfish. She doesn’t even notice that there’s a issue, or maybe she doesn’t care.”

It wasn’t until Khloé told mom Kris about the fight over FaceTime that she realized it was time to work things out with her sister. They ended up going for a stroll on the beach, where Khloé brought up the fact that it had become “hard to communicate with one another.”
“I feel like we both get defensive,” she said. “But I want to be able to communicate with you from a non-defensive place, where we could accept each other’s opinions. Maybe it’s not what we say, it’s how we say it.”
Khloé’s biggest issue with Kourtney, she said, was that she hadn’t been “paying attention.”
“I feel like you just do things so mindlessly — not in a malicious way, but you’re always onto the next thing,” she said.
Kourtney agreed and promised to make an effort to be “more present.”
“I appreciate your helping raise everyone’s kids,” she said. “I think it’s a nice thing to have multiple opinions, if it’s said in the right way.”
Khloé promised to work on her tone and the two hugged it out.
“Everyone has their moments,” Kourtney acknowledged. “We just all need to try to do our best to not engage in that toxic cycle.”
